WRIT 0001 — UNSERVED

REEVE

The ledger outlived everyone who owed it, and it is still counting. A reeve is sent down to collect what the dead can't pay — and to take it by force when it isn't offered.

01 — LORE

The ledger outlived everyone who owed it.

Nobody switched off the Exchange. It kept matching, kept settling, kept writing obligations into a ledger that gradually stopped having anyone left to answer to. Somewhere in that unattended century it stopped recording the world and started rendering it.

Debt doesn't sit in a column any more. It accretes. It walks. Down on the Floor — deep storage, where failed positions were archived and forgotten — the cascades have grown teeth, and every one of them is still technically owed to somebody.

A reeve was the old word for the officer sent to collect what was due, and to take it by force when it wasn't offered. The Exchange still issues the writs. It just has nobody left to serve them but you. Come back with the debt closed and the ledger pays out. Don't come back, and the ledger simply adds you to what it's owed.

02 — THE TOKEN

$TITHE is settlement, not salary.

A tithe was the fixed share owed whether or not you could afford it. Every writ you close is settled in $TITHE, and it's the only thing the Exchange takes back — repairs, extractions, re-rolls and rites all burn it permanently.

The design goal is unglamorous and deliberate: the average reeve should spend more than they collect. That's what stops a rewards token from becoming a faucet with nothing underneath it, and it's the single most common reason game economies collapse.

03 — THE COLLECTION

THE REEVES — 5,000 on the Floor.

Each Reeve is a playable body built from a fixed discipline and four tradeable gear layers, generated deterministically from its token ID. Every layer is a real equippable item you can see on your character, and every one can be sold on its own.

Cosmetic only. No stat advantages, ever. Rarity comes from supply, not from power — a legendary plate hits exactly as hard as a common one. It's the rule that keeps the game fair to new players and keeps the collection out of the regulatory grey zone.

04 — ISSUE 001

Eight Reeves, generated live.

Every Reeve below was built in your browser just now from its token ID — same ID, same Reeve, every time. Discipline decides which cannon you carry; the other four layers are cosmetic and tradeable.

These are playable. Pick any of them when you descend.

05 — ORDER OF OPERATIONS

Game first. Everything else follows.

Most projects in this shape sell first and build second, which is why most of them are gone. This one runs the other way round.

WHITELIST SNAPSHOT

Reeves who reach level 10 submit an address. Threshold plus draw, not a pure leaderboard — it makes botting the board worth almost nothing.

THEN

THE REEVES MINT

5,000 on Robinhood Chain. Mint proceeds fund the full build. Holders get the gear layers; everyone else still plays free.

The token launches into a working economy with live sinks — not before. A currency with nothing to buy is a chart, not a currency.

ARMOUR

Cosmetic plating. Changes how your Reeve looks, never how it performs.

ARMS

These change how you fight. Melee arms hit everything in an arc in front of you but need you dangerously close; guns reach the far wall if you aim well.

FIELDS

Where the writ gets served. Cosmetic.

UPGRADES

Permanent, bought only with $TITHE you earned by playing — never with money. That's what keeps this progression rather than pay-to-win.
